 <title>Biret Ristin Sara joins the Yoik Archive Project team</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Biret Ristin Sara&lt;/strong&gt; is now working for the yoik archive project.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Berit Kirsten Sara (Biret Ristin Sara or Pieraš-Per-Ánne Ristin) comes from a&lt;br /&gt;
reinder herding family in Karašjok and has Northern Sami as her mother tounge.&lt;br /&gt;
She is a well established yoiker.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Biret Ristin was taking active part in the&lt;br /&gt;
founding of Juoigiid Searvi (The Yoik Association) 1997 and was the leader of&lt;br /&gt;
the associations from the start until March 2006. She gives courses in yoik for&lt;br /&gt;
children and adults.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Biret Ristin is with her deep knowledge about yoik traditions a valuable resources for the project.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Ann-Catrin Blind joins the Yoik Archive Project team</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;With start today &lt;strong&gt;Ann-Catrin Blind&lt;/strong&gt; is working in the yoik archive project. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ann-Catrin Blind is living in Jokkmokk, and have been working in the project Swedish Sami bibliography, where Ájtte have been project owner, and whose purpose has been to register Sami and Sami related literature earlier published in Sweden. Ann-Catrin is ethnologist and has studied at the University of Umeå and the University of Uppsala.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ann-Catrin Blind is by her great experience of classification&amp;nbsp; and registration a valuable resource for the Yoik Archive Project.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Marko Jouste joins the Yoik Archive Project Team</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;As of today &lt;strong&gt;Marko Jouste&lt;/strong&gt; joins the Yoik Archive Project team. MA Marko Jouste is a Finnish ethnomusicologist, graduated from the University of Tampere in 1998. Since 1999 he has worked mainly on research of the musical traditions of Sámi people and has published a vast variety of articles in scientifical publications. Jouste is finnishing his dissertation on the historical Sámi musical traditions of the Aanar-district in Finland. With start today, 1 February 2006, Jouste is working in the Yoik Archive Project.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Jouste has also graduated from The Conservatory of Tampere as a classical guitar teacher. As a musician Jouste has also had a special interest on indigenous musical cultures. From 1994 he has been learning classical Turkish music and Turkish ud-lute. He has also been active in the Scandinavian World Music scene as a lutist, singer and composer. He has recorded two CD:s with the group called Vilddas.&lt;/p&gt;
